小美人 還記得我回來的目的嗎?
沒錯 我有律師的事情要 take care of

這個 Discovery 安排了好久
最後的時間終於敲定
決定於今早的八點開始進行

因為去了一趟大陸 看了許多成功的台商
我深深的體會到 早起和不偷懶 是成功的基本原則
所以我今天六點半就起床了
洗完澡 梳洗打理之後
吃了頓清爽乾淨的早餐 (toast + cream cheese)
我帶著無比的精神出發 downtown
前往這個溫哥華前三大的律師事務所 Lawson Lundell

可能是有吃早餐和好天氣的緣故吧
今天的我 好有精神 腦筋好 sharp
ICBC 敵方律師問了許多困難的問題
想要 deny 對我的 claim 付出責任
但是都被我迎刃而解

結束時 我的律師 Kinji 把我叫到一旁
很鄭重的對我說:

"Wayne, I have never seen any of my client more clever than you,
I’m not saying this to butter you up, but your responses
are so sharp and accurate, you’re one of the most intelligent
guys that I have met. You were very clear about the
objective of the ICBC lawyer and knew how to avoid
the pitfalls. I don’t know if it’s because you’ve
recently taken the GMAT test or something, but your
responses were right on the money. Even if we were to go on
trial, your answers will certainly win the judges over.
This Discovery was a huge success, the ICBC lawyer has
even asked me to come up with our offer so that they
could settle this. Good job, Wayne!"

是不是因為我天秤座的關係? 對於他人所問的問題總有清楚的解析?
多好的 compliment? Coming from 溫哥華前三大 law firm 的律師

即使他所說的讚賞可能別有用意
但是我的確聽的相當滿意

這次回來的目的
算是成功達成了
