每天一個人面對多少脆弱？用自己一雙肩膀去承接多少壓力？有形無形、被理解被誤解、受傷或傷害人…夜晚入睡前，總是期待著，睜開眼睛時，就是全新的一天，不再受過去綑綁。
朋友問：過去縱然有不愉快，卻也有許多美好，難道不值得紀念保存嗎？
若站在「人是理性動物」此一前提上展開討論，透過人一致、遞移且完全的偏好排序來計算，發現過去就像個抽屜，收納著許多許多不願被回顧的點滴，而之所以不願再度受審視，正是因為成本大於利益，身為理性行動者，何苦來哉？當然，這只是滄海一粟的經驗。
曾經讀到一段聖經上的文字：There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.（歌林多前書10：13）”escape” 一字使我久久不能自已，畢竟上帝讓人所承受的必定在人能力所及之內，即便我軟弱至極，還能走為上策，祂並沒有拿刀押著我的脖子說「去！現在就去解決！」沒有，祂允許我臨陣脫逃，等我重新裝備好了，帶著足夠的勇氣及智慧再回來修理故障的機具。或者，只是某一個時間，某一個念頭，就可以解開了。
有沒有可能這反而成為逃避過去的藉口？有，極有可能，但我相信當祂為我預備足夠的信心時，就像葡萄成熟那樣，自然會煥發出圓熟的光采。我靜待那一刻來臨。然而現在的我，仍然每天期待全新的一天，珍惜每一個今天。
