這首《Bad Moon Rising》是清水合唱團 ( C.C.R. ) 的主唱John Fogerty自己的作品，原收錄在專輯〈Green River〉之中，1969年4月另外發行單曲，分別獲得美國及英國排行榜的第2和第1名。也是CCR的第二張單曲金唱片。2011年，這首歌在滾石雜誌的「歷來500偉大歌曲」中排名第364。

有人認為，這首歌的內容是和「狼人說」有關，也有人覺得是在影射美國南方抵制黑人的暴力，或是聯想到越戰……。至於John Fogerty自己的說法，他寫歌的靈感是來自於電影The Devil and Daniel Webster ( 又譯為「黑夜煞星」)中的颶風，也聲稱這首歌是關於「天啟 ( apocalypse )」的末世論的將會造訪，應該是有些警世用意。

歌詞中有一句"there's a bad moon on the rise"，常被誤聽為" there's a bathroom on the right"。在某次的現場表演，John Fogerty還戲謔式的故意將這句唱成"there's a bathroom on the right"。

最近提不起什麼勁來貼歌，恰巧今天早上在車上聽到有在播這首，故就來貼吧。不瞞說，我也是個會在意有「徵兆」或是「啟示」的人。哈哈哈！
