此首《Love Me Warm and Tender》為Paul Anka自寫自唱，收錄於其1962的複合專輯《Diana》中，單曲獲得美國流行榜的第12名。

Paul Anka是有黎巴嫩血統的加拿大歌手 ( 1999才獲得美國籍 )，14歲時即出了首支單曲《I Confess》。1956，帶著叔叔給的100美金赴紐約打天下。1957，即以一首《Diana》登上美、加排行榜的冠軍，可謂是一戰成名，英雄出少年，當時他也才16歲。接著推出了許多經典的歌曲，像是1958的《You Are My Destiny》、《Crazy Love》，1959的《Lonely Boy》、《Put Your Hand on My Shoulder》，1960的《Puppy Love》、《My Home Town》，………。

Paul Anka不僅自己好歌連連，另像Tom Jones翻唱Anka所寫的《She's a Lady》(1971)，成為了大熱門暢銷曲。以及Frank Sinatra ( 法蘭克辛那屈 ) 的的代表作《My Way》(1969)，此原為法文歌曲，也是由Paul Anka譜寫成英文歌詞。而較為尷尬的是，Anka曾寫了一首《It Doesn't Matter Anymore》給Buddy Holly，Holly於1959年初發行該曲，但還未滿一個月Holly即墜機身亡，此的確也讓人感到有些「諷刺」。為表達內心的歉疚，Anka將該曲的著作權費全給了Holly的遺孀。

60年代中期起，紅如Paul Anka也難敵「英倫入侵」，美國流行樂壇儘是英國歌手和樂團的天下。沉寂了一段時期，1974，Paul Anka再以《( You’re) Having My Babe》登上美國排行榜的寶座，緊接著1975的《I Don’t Like Sleep Alone》也是首相當經典的流行曲。2020，Anka與第三任妻子Lisa Pemberton離婚，雖然不喜歡，但看來夜晚還是要Sleep Alone了！

Lisa Pemberto身高5呎7吋(約170.18公分)，Paul Anka號稱168公分，怎倆人看來差那麼多？
