之前我一直以為這首歌的原唱是Skeeter Davis（1962），而且我認為她唱得相當不錯。但其實是Wanda Jackson在1956首先推出，而且原始的歌詞contain a verse，和後來其他未含入的版本有些不同。 

約在前半年左右，我無意間在YouTube看到Linda Ronstadt(琳達朗絲黛)和The Eagles（老鷹合唱團）合唱此首曲子，真的是非常精彩，但沒多久即因版權問題被鎖掉了，不過目前在網路上還是找得到該片的影音。

 

看Linda Ronstadt在YouTube的現場影音就知道，早期她非常喜歡演唱這首歌，和Skeeter Davis的版本比較起來，我認為是各有千秋。但不一樣的是Linda Ronstadt當時的專屬樂團，因其中的Glenn Frey和Don Henley後來成為The Eagles的團員（也有人認為Linda Ronstadt算是發掘The Eagles的幕後推手），想到後來The Eagles在樂壇大放異彩的成就，在聽這首歌時，又是另一番欣賞巨星的心情了。

 

還有，Linda的衣服不知是否有透明的肩帶？看她一點都沒擔心衣服會往下滑的樣子，真是厲害。呵呵呵！
