Glendronach 15yo 1994/2009 Refilled Butt 61.8% The Single Malt of Scotland

C: gold

21 N: sherry, walnut, honey, plum, wood cask

21 T: round and rich, some cherry, walnut, plum, fresh orange juice, citrus

22 F: long, beautiful tropical fruits, some orange peal, Sunkist

22 B: good balanced, more citrus and orange spread up

 

Glenrothes 18yo 1990/2009 sherry Hogshead 50.5% The Single Malt of Scotland

C: yellow

20 N: some sulphurs, sherry, match box

21 T: round and smooth, cream, toffee, still sulphur, a little dry and spicy

20 F: medium -> long, fragrance, getting more elegant, cream, hint of ginger, white chocolate

21 B: balanced, worth to take more and wait, still variant

 

Longmorn 19yo 1990/2009 Refilled Bourbon 54.5% The Single Malt of Scotland

C: yellow

22 N: some coconut, tropical fruits, honey, a little fresh grass, sandal wood, fragrance

22 T: light, sandal wood, some coconut, citrus peal, a little apricot, wood cask

21 F: medium, apple peal, coconut juice, fresh mint w. some spices

22 B: good balance both for N&T, elegant and beautiful,, not a bit stress at all

 

Linkwood 20yo 1989/2009 Hogshead 53.4% The Single Malt of Scotland

C: yellow

21 N: some honey, cream, X’mas cake, lemonade, marmalade, Boston pie

20 T: light, a little wood cask, citrus, spices, some apricot, ginger

21 F: medium, lightly peat? Some fresh grass comes up at the end

21 B: balanced, elegant and easy to drink, but few variant at the end

 

Br1 1991/2009 53.6% Special Drinks Ltd

C: light yellow

22 N: honey, citrus peal, peach, fresh cream, hint of mango, complicated white fruits

21 T: medium, fruity, beautiful wood cask, good impact white bread

21 F: medium, citrus, cream, some cheese cake, ginger

21 B: balanced, beautiful white fruits, especially good for tasting

 

Lg1 56.8% Special Drinks Ltd

C: light yellow

21 N: rich peat, beautiful light smoky, grass, deep sea wind

21 T: medium -> light, strong and good impact, more matured than 12yo C.S.?

20 F: medium, peaty, baked almond, nutmegs, peanuts, not as typical Lagv.

21 B: balanced, few variant at the end, I prefer 12yo CS in this case

 

Ar2 60.5% Special Drinks Ltd

C: yellow

21 N: peaty, hint of sulphur, some peanuts, ashes

21 T: medium, heavily peat, some sea weed, a little bacon, strong impact

21 F: medium, richly peat, some white peppers and chocolate at the end

21 B: balanced, classical Ardbeg, w/ some hint of old Ardbeg

 

C: 這次的選酒整題而言都在水準之上,其中Longmorn, Br1都相當好喝, 建議可納入平日House malt的行列!
