1.Glen Moray 16yo 40% OB

C: yellow gold

21 N: fresh grass, peach, apricot, green apple, toffee, very fresh fruit, spices, mint, liquorices, lemon peels

20 T: light -> medium, some powder, cream, vanilla, peach, grassy, a little spicy and smoke

20 F: medium, some camphor, grass, vanilla, lemon peels, a little liquorice, milk candy, smoky at the end

20 B: balanced, better for nosing, no stress at all, good C/P value, easy to drink. Hint of peat?

 

2.Glen Moray 1971/1999 43% OB

C: amber

23 N: very ripe, splendid fruits, w/ hint of smoky, stewed apple, grapefruit, orange, ripe melon, peach, pears, apple, then some beautiful floral, fragrance

22 T: full, round and smooth, crème sugar, ripe melon, peach, grapefruit, baked almond slice

21 F: long, elegant and smooth, tropical fruits, fresh cream, melon, peach, a little smoky, liquorices

21 B: good balanced both for N & T, especially for nosing, very enjoyable, but lack of extension somehow

 

3.Glen Moray 1974 Manager’s Choice 53.7% OB Oloroso Sherry Butt B#675/676

C: amber

23 N: rich, concentrated fruits, longan, ripe melon, peach, syrup, orange, plum, barley sugar, some grapefruit, still splendid, then some wood cask

22 T: full and round, w/ very good impact and texture, rich barley sugar, caramel, cream, ripe melon, grapefruit and some roasted malts

22 F: long, plum, ripe orange, chocolate, melon sweet w. deep and rich pale sherry, some chocolate at the end

22 B: very good balanced, rich vanilla, butter, a little smoky, good extension and still variant. Very good choice

 

4.Glen Moray 1995/2008 13yo 53.7% Blackadder Sherry Cask C#6089 118Bts

C: amber, red gold

19 N: some fresh, elegant sherry, ripe cherry, some wood cask, sandal wood, plain

19 T: medium, some sulphurs, brown sugar, sweet, ripe cherry, sherry, a little bitterness of orange peels

19 F: medium, good texture and extension, cherry, toffee, candy, some chocolate and vinho(wine cask?), lack of variant and flat at the end

19 B: somehow, a clean sherry cask, it’s a pity that lack of variant

 

5.Glen Moray 1973/2010 36yo 53.1% The Perfect Dram Joint Bottling w/ Three River Tokyo Ex-bourbon Hogshead 301Bts

C: amber

22 N: grapefruits, berries, some cherry, tangerine juice, then medicine syrup? Followed by some ripe peach, apricot, toffee, ripe melon, very fruity

21 T: full, round and smooth, some fruit acid, grapefruit, medicine powder, tangerine peels

21 F: long, medicine powder, tangerine peeks, peach, pears, some barley sugar at the end

22 B: good balanced both for N & T, good extension, but medicine powder, too much wood cask influenced

22 N: some mineral, flowers, malty, then honey, toffee, barley sugar, orange, apple pie, very charming and attractive

22 T: full, round and smooth, honey, ripe apple, tangerine juice, apricot, a little liquorices

22 F: long, stewed apple, honey, toffee, barley sugar, a little spices and baked almond at the end

22 B: good balanced both for N & T, very easy to drink and enjoyable. Give me another dram!
