首先感謝K大的邀約.之前在blog上看到眾酒友去年底參加Suntory酒廠參觀之行,接受山岡先生招待,甚感羨慕.如今山岡先生來台,當然不能錯失與山岡先生一起喝酒的機會.然而似乎山岡先生似乎料到眾酒友會帶一些老酒招待他,於是帶了幾支年輕的酒款,其中有兩支還是他挑選裝瓶的酒.此等機會一生中遇到的機會當然不多!話不說說,以下記錄當晚品飲的幾酒款.

 

Springbank 1958 40.6% OB大S標

C: amber

24 N: Elegant and stunning sweet fruit, fresh plum, citrus, melon peer, honey apple, follow by some beautiful wood cask,檀木,沉香,柚木, then coconut milk, honey. Very good layers, actives and complexes

22 T: full, a little dry, ginger, but still very fruity, orange peer, grapefruit, honey apple, some good texture of wood cask

23 F: long, citrus, grapefruit, apricot, fresh prune, finished in some beautiful wood cask,檀香木,沉香

22 B: good balanced both for nosing and tasting. Very good extension for nosing and it still variants. Just like back to the golden old time Springbank

這支是山岡先生在K大小窖挑選的年份酒,果然眾望所歸,應該是當晚冠軍!

 

Springbank 1998/2008 10yo 59.7% Fresh Rum Barrel Specially Bottled for Malt House Islay

C: light yellow

20 N: light green apple peer, vanilla, a little medicine powder, plastics. Then ginger, moss, fresh wood cask, a little malty, apricot at the end

20 T: light, a little dry, spicy and bitter, grassy, medicine, very oil, good impact

19 F: short -> medium, ginger, cookie, some white chocolate, more bitterness at the end

19 B: some how balanced. Quite young bottle, few complexes but with good extension.

有點小失望,似乎還太年輕就裝瓶了,沒有太多Rum wood的感受

 

Auchentoshan 1965 31yo 44.4% OB Hogshead C#2142

C: amber

21 N: wet paper, mold, a little mushroom, caramel. Then dry orange peer, apricot, followed by some sherry, old plum and fruit. Some wood cask at the end

20 T: full, a little spicy, ginger, pepper, tree skin. A little bitterness at the middle of tongue

21 F: medium, mushroom, orange peer, malty, finish in more fruit, grapefruit, citrus and wood cask,檜木,沉木,夾竹桃

21 B: balanced, better variant for nosing at the end. Maybe it needs more time to talk

當晚爭議最大也引起最多討論的酒,Jason說不像典型的低地Auchentoshan,我也認為沒印象中Authentoshan的乾淨,cork還是K大說的老酒的樣子? 就連最後木塞斷了都很多話題

 

Bowmore 1993/2001 8yo 40% The Islay Prestige C#500065, 500066, 500067 Specially Bottled for MAEDA

C: light yellow

21 N: Some smoky fruit from begin, somehow like old bottle Bowmore, grapefruit, vanilla, lemon cake, ginger, a little smoky

20 T: light, ginger, lemonade, some peaty in mouth

20 F: short, ginger, almond

20 B: some how balanced, better for nosing, not very classic Bowmore

初聞很討喜,有點老波摩的果味. 便宜到大家眼珠子都掉下來的酒,真是不可思議!
