酒款：

1. Glendronach 15yo 40% OB Matured in Sherry Cask

C: deep amber, brown gold

20 N: caramel, coffee, smoky, nutty, a little grape fruit, sherry

19 T: medium, round and smooth, a little sour, smoke, baked wood, cream. Then some coffee

19 F: medium, caramel, cream, and coffee. Some grapefruit and raspberry at the end

19 B: some kind of balanced. Few complexes and degrade fast

 

2. Glendronach 1970/1990 20yo 56% Duneideann Italian Type C#546~558 1800b

C: brown

23 N: soy soak,糯米,肉粽,粽葉, then a little black prune, meat, cream, honey. Rich and fruity.

22 T: full body, dry, black prune, very creamy w/ fresh sherry? Then some chocolate and a hint of mint. Tight, round and rich flavors

22 F: very long, a little salty, soy oil, meat, deep, cream and wood cask. 相當醇厚而略感黏稠

22 B: good balanced, but it seems like more than 25yo, very good impact, somehow just like cognac

 

3. Yoichi 20yo 52% OB

C: amber, red gold

22 N: a little sodium, sulfur, wood cask, then some黑棗, prune, followed by some smoky and a little peaty, elegant sherry

22 T: medium -> full, dry, a little sulfur, cocoa, chocolate. Round and rich

22 F: long, finished in some cocoa, chocolate, prune, smoke and sherry wood

22 B: good balanced. Smooth and easy to drink

 

4. Yoichi 20yo 56% OB distillery visitor only C#204998 18E10D 500ml

C: amber, gold

23 N: long extended rich fruit, some caramel,蜜棗, slightly sherry, a little smoke w/ honey, nutty, almond and even vanilla. Followed by some Indian corn, a little teak, grapefruit, then peanut jam, baked wood. Very good layer

22 T: medium, dry, salty, rich and complexes, obviously Indian corn, caramel, a little bitter, some vanilla, spicy at the end

22 F: medium, finished in some cocoa, chocolate,蜜棗, vanilla, rich oil. Full texture and strong impact

22 B: good balanced. Smooth wood cask, new American bourbon oak? (First w/ some hint of sherry, but bourbon till the end)

 

5. Yoichi 1987/2008 20yo 55% OB WWA受賞紀念款 1350b

C: amber

24 N: toffee, sweet, fresh sherry, cotton candy, then a little sea wind, fresh grass, beautiful and elegant smoky, some peaty, followed by some black bean, bramble, fresh plum, vanilla, herb, chenin blanc, musk. Full of aromas, Clear layers and complexes

23 T: medium, a little dry, some chenin blanc and musk, smoky wood cask. Sweet toffee, fresh sherry. Full of flavors and complexes. A little thin wood but w/ very good quality

23 F: very long, baked wood, rich spices, and fresh fruit, some pear, green apple peer and a little mint, ginger at the end

24 B: quite good balanced. Not traditional Yoichi, very complexes, full of textures, clear layers, very impressive and enjoyable. White new oak?

 

插花酒:

Yoichi 15yo 45% OB

C: amber, gold

21 N: slightly sherry, honey, a little orange, honey, cherry, then some cream, 龍眼乾, raisin

21 T: medium -> light, a little spicy, ginger, some raisin comes up from throat and full of mouth, smooth and elegant, very easy to drink

20 F: medium, finish in some cream, orange, homey, ginger, but degrade fast. Few complexes and variant at the end

21 B: balanced both for nosing and tasting. Some touching at the end due to a hint of fresh sherry
