老歌亂談(646) Waitin' on a Sunny Day

2001年，美國遭受911恐怖攻擊。次年，Bruce Springsteen推出了《The Rising》專輯，其中的好幾首歌都是針對911的回應，雖然此首《Waitin' on a Sunny Day》同樣感覺有有重拾快樂、振奮人心的效果，而卻是較早之前的作品 ( 1998或1999 )。其實，Bruce Springsteen之前對這首歌並不滿意，在1999/04至2000/07「Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Reunion Tour」的巡迴演唱期間，只將此曲作為試音之用，從未真正的在舞台上表演。且Bruce Springsteen曾想將此曲丟入垃圾桶，直到製作人將之挖了出來，並再與他的伴唱樂隊E Street重新錄製。

《The Rising》專輯在2003為Bruce Springsteen奪得了兩座葛萊美獎。而此首《Waitin' on a Sunny Day》也僅在歐洲發行了單曲。在澳洲、荷蘭、德國及西班牙均進入了排行榜，而最佳的成績是瑞典 ( # 15 )。此曲之後也成為Bruce Springsteen 和 the E Street Band現場作秀的必演唱曲目。

長髮黑衣彈空心吉它的女子，應該是Bruce Springsteen的第二任妻子Patti Scialfa。( 亦為E Street團員 )
薩克斯風手Clarence Clemons2011死於中風 ( 69歲 )。
另，鍵盤手Danny Federici2008死於皮膚癌 ( 58歲 )。

已經很久很久沒聽Springsteen的歌,個人覺得他的音樂特色就在E Street Band的伴奏,尤其是 The Big Man,Clarence Clemons的薩克斯風.
另外一位成員鍵盤樂器手David Sancious讓Springsteen的早期音樂帶些爵士和古典的風味.第二張專輯裡的New York City Serenade鋼琴伴奏與弦樂編曲都是他.E Street Band的團名就是因為Sancious住在紐澤西貝爾馬的E街.

哈哈！其實Springsteen的歌我聽的不多，常常YouTube自動跳出來的多為他和其他歌手的合唱，像是和Paul McCartney合唱的《I Saw Her Standing There》就很不錯。

Springsteen號稱「工人皇帝」，所唱的歌曲通常反映一般庶民的心聲。我去聽他的《Born in the U.S.A.》《Dancing In The Dark》《The River》《Hungry Heart》……，感覺在「對味」上還是差了一些，或許是我沒有好好的去咀嚼這些歌詞的意思吧。而讓我驚訝的，The Pointer Sister的《Fire》，竟然是他寫的。

哈哈！或許等待陽光的日子沒有讓美國回到光榮的過去來得有誘惑力！

川普在接受「60分鐘」的訪問中，看來對原先的一些競選議題已有所調整，感覺他的頭腦要比柯P和小英清楚多了。再對照看起來像老粗的杜特帝，許多台灣人這陣子真的很悶，也希望郭台銘有勇氣站出來拼一場。

很高兴看到他站出来支持希拉里，然而却没能看到胜利，心塞。希望四年后，民主党推出推出年轻的候选人，再与共和党一决胜负

繼前次的高爾及這次的希拉蕊，民主黨已兩次贏得多數普選票卻輸了總統，或許也該檢討選舉人票制度是否公允適當。
