行政院國家科學委員會人文及社會科學發展處（簡稱國科會人文處）於2009年5月5日召開人文學各學門複審委員聯席會議，依據2008年3月 10日制訂之「臺灣人文學引文索引核心期刊收錄實施方案」（試行方案），審核並決議2008年THCICore收錄期刊名單。
