話說前晚去唱K，
我第一首好努力想找歌是You Raise Me Up。
記得前陣子看at17演唱會的DVD，
其中，在唱Hallelujah之前，歌者說了一段話，
她說，
我們有時會好好運氣，碰上一些歌，
其威力強大到，
希望一生中有機會在台上唱一次...
就是只有一次也足夠。
我第一時間就想到了You Raise Me Up。
這就是那一首威力強大的歌...
只要有機會在台上好好唱一次...一次已能無憾。
記得第一次聽到這首歌是在Road Show，感動得很，
但不知是什麼歌，
第二次是在香港國際機場候機室的一間餐廳，
這一次不放過機會，
問了店員歌名，
那天晚上在酒店房間上網找到這首歌，
重複地聽了不知多少遍(當然也一直在唱)...
直到可以完全記住歌詞。
然而那都是Josh Groban的版本，
回到家好幾天...才知道最初的歌者是Secret Garden(一隊愛爾蘭的組合)，
歌曲收錄在Once in a red moon大碟，
而最有趣的是...我有這一隻碟...
是之前一位好友送的，我卻沒有聽過...
這首歌感動我的地方，
是...唱出了生命中最大的感恩...

最初唱時，對象自然是我的神...
然而慢慢...一張一張面孔出現，
一生以來的多位恩師，
一位一位在成長路上扶持過我的朋友...
因為有他們，我的生命才有今天...
那是生命最大的感動。
可惜，就是CEO也沒有這首歌，
好奇怪，
因為此曲自2002年由Secret Garden首先發行以來，
四年間已被返唱過無數次，
包括Josh Groban、Westlife、同Il Divo，
其中最先重唱的Josh Groban更以此曲被提名格林美音樂獎，
今天心血來潮上YouTube找尋一下有關的片段，
想不到不同的MV、不同的歌手、不同的語言...共有好幾十個版本，
更有人在婚禮上唱、在父親的生日會上唱、在教堂的敬拜中唱、也在畢業禮上向敬愛的師長唱。
如此名曲，真不知為什麼沒有Karaoke，
唯一可以說的是...首歌太難唱。
為什麼You Raise Me Up會有如此強大的威力？

只可惜在網上流傳的只基於Josh Groban版本，
要找Secret Garden版好困難，
然而，
就只有這個原初的版本有以下這一段最引人共鳴的歌詞：
