鄰台李燦榮大談最愛英文歌, 小妹也來湊湊興.

不習慣聽英文流行歌. 與其說不喜歡, 不如說是不諳英語. 甚至甚麼是Brit Pop, 實在一頭霧水. 但對某幾首金曲倒是很喜歡. 我純粹欣賞它的旋律, 歌曲的歌詞不甚理會. 後來發覺金曲所以歷久不衰, 是因為歌詞夠簡單.

以下是我喜歡的十首英文歌曲, 不分先後:

1. Ain't no mountain high enough - Diana Ross

2. Arthur's Theme (Best than you can do) - Christopher Cross

電影《闊少爺》(Arthur) 的主題曲, 當年贏得奧斯卡最佳歌曲.
多年來都是奧斯卡伴奏樂團愛演奏的配樂之一.

3. Goodbye Girl

電影《再見女郎》(Goodbye Girl) 的主題曲.

4. I'd really love to see you tonight - England Dand and John Ford Coley

I'm not talking about moving in

5. I will survive - Gloria Gaynor

叫失意人振作的一首歌. 本人特別推薦電影《Man on the Moon》片尾, 由占基利配合Tony Cliffton造型主唱的版本.

6. Lady Marmalade - Labelle
