婚禮音樂《The Water Is Wide》

這是一首舉世聞名的蘇格蘭民謠，
內容描述一位男孩對愛情的追求，
但不可得，柔腸寸斷，
歌詞與旋律搭配得無懈可擊，
西方的女歌手特別鍾愛這首歌.

英文的歌詞版本相當多，上述的歌詞最為憂傷，是最受歡迎的版本。



原著電影故事取自暢銷小說《The Water Is Wide》

故事內容是描寫一名教師(Pat Conroy帕特康羅伊)於1972年搬到美國南卡
羅來納州的Daufuskie 島教書時寫下的自傳。

這島上的居民幾乎都是直接後裔奴隸，非常窮困，加上對外的交通沒有
橋樑，只能用船隻運送，教育文化也很低，可以說他的工作充滿著挫折
與挑戰，除了盡力與居民溝通，還要教導他們，這種犧牲奉獻的精神
實在令人可佩。

書中以 Yamacraw 亞馬克勞島代稱原來的 Daufuskie 島，Conroy 用
”conrack ”稱呼大部分的學生，年紀10~13歲分班，由於觀點各持不同，
一心一意要把亞馬克勞學校問題解決，最後演變成與學校校長、行政人員
爭執不休。

孩子還放寒假在家，閒著沒事，就找出魔戒“Lord of the Rings”DVD
又看了一次，其實有三次以上從頭到尾認真看過，電視電影台也重播了
無數次，就是找不出也想不出到底是配樂?還是什麼歌?怎麼這麼好聽？

片名：The Piano (1993)
故事描述一位鋼琴家(啞巴)，千里迢迢帶著笨重的鋼琴和一個女兒嫁到
一個小島，劇中的她因不會說話，所以感情表達的讓你覺得特別細膩，
她的新婚丈夫對她又愛又憐，卻在床第之間失和，忍不住被戴綠帽，
心中燃起的妒火忿然地砍下她最珍重一根指頭。
最後依然留不住她的心，她的人... ...

They are all my kids` favorites.

The monitor of my computer is not working.
I have to use my son`s.
will buy a new one for my daughter this summer.
And keep trying to convince my son, beg him to let me install the Chinese keyboard.
