Tonight, Arsenal lost the first Champions League final...

My boss, a Consultant and myself were in an Arsenal bar,
Singing the chants of Arsenal with fellow Gooners
I will always remember my first (and probably the last) beer shower

I have to say, I think Arsenal has put on their BEST performance
Consider Lehman got sent off early in the game,
Almunia came on without warm-up, without preparation, without training
He used his instinct to maintain Arsenal´s cleansheet for 70 minutes
even blocked a crucial save from Samuel Eto
I do believe NO ONE could blame him for being rubbish!!

The major problem is, and I remain my stand point is:
Arsenal lost unreasonably on an absolutely obvious off-side goal
Which I believe anyone, from Henry, Wenger to little potato like myself
Find it extremely hard to accept

To be honest, to me, I don´t really mind if Arsenal does not win the Champions League
Because I think the performance this season has been outstanding
And all Gooners should be proud of themselves already anyway
However, if by winning the Champions League is the only way to keep our Captain Thierry Henry at Arsenal,
Then... So be it!!!

And now, after the most unfortunate and tragic lost tonight,
We lost the Champions League trophy,
We lost the spirit, but most importantly,
We lost the hope of keeping Thierry Henry
And that really gets me down...
(My heart was also broken when I saw Robert Pires´ upsetted face...)

Captian, my Captain, will I ever see you in red again??
