危急的境況能促使進步﹕黑暗促使燈的發明﹔有霧才有指南針﹔飢餓迫使我們探索新土地﹔失意令我們明白工作的真締。

Emergencies have always been necessary to progress.
It was darkness which produced the lamps. It was fog
that produced the compass. It was hunger that drove
us to exploration. And it took a depression to teach
us the real value of a job.
