華聲合唱團有40人左右，今年的春季演唱會(5/08/2010)應母親節他們很溫馨的送了女仕們一朵康乃馨帶回家，我將之放在廚房裡天天相望。

成立27年的華聲合唱團首先演唱了以充滿對大自然的深情厚愛，是由約翰.盧特作的讚美詩「為了這個美麗的地球」“For the Beauty of the Earth”  貫穿全場，頌揚大自然之美妙。無論是合唱曲，獨唱曲，或小組演唱，都離不開這個主題。演唱會最後更邀請了華聲的下一任指揮，楊顯基先生，來指揮同樣的一首主題歌 “For the Beauty of the Earth”。這樣特別的安排兩位指揮同台演出，指揮同一首曲子，把華聲的指揮交接，非常圓滿的呈現在全場觀眾面前，也是一個創舉。

華聲合唱團在僑界貢獻很大，除了藉著歌聲慰勞僑胞，也是國民外交，促進當地文化交流，因此音樂會的贊助者不只是僑委會，還有華人的商店、醫師、銀行、攝影協會，連租用的美國教會也是其中之一。
