Pixel series doubled in sales in the second quarter

In today's earnings conference call, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said that with the launch of Pixel 3a in May, Pixel handsets more than doubled in sales in the second quarter.


Part of the increase was due to Google's expansion of Pixel's sales from its own stores and Verizon to T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular and Spectrum Mobile. Pichay also stressed that Google Pixel 3a received the highest net recommended value.


In addition, Pichay also mentioned that Google Cloud's annual revenue operation rate has reached 8 billion US dollars. In the cloud computing field, Amazon AWS has more than 30 billion US dollars, Microsoft Azure is about 11 billion US dollars.
