夜欄人靜, 我從收音機裡頭聽到Billy Joel的《Just the way you are》.

從前我聽英文歌曲, 只會留意它的旋律動聽與否, 不太理解歌詞的意思.

當我聽到《Just the way you are》時, 總被歌曲輕輕的旋律, 和色士風的響號吸引. 歌者似乎有一思惆悵:

I need to know that you will always be, The same old someone that I knew.
What will it take till you believe in me, The way that I believe in you?

但又帶著幾分豁達:

I said I love you, and that's forever, And this I promise from the heart.

當我嘗試拆解人生的未知數時, 好一首《Just the way you are》, 令我積極地"just the way I am".
