Godspeed, Roger!

Just got a shocking news from Phil


He told me Roger passed away last May.

This is really a bad start of a day.

Roger was on my master committee long long time ago.
I remember his pony tail and warm smile.
I worked one of my master Plan B papers with Roger. Though he did not really understand all the technical stuffs in my paper, he did know very well in the rest and help me to wrap up the paper.

Roger was an very interesting people and students loved him, including myself.

The saddest thing is Miller was alone riding his motorcycle to see his only son graduate from Harvard University. 

Can not imagine how his son felt when he got the news.

I love you, Roger.

I will always remember you and thank you for what you did for me.
