Dolly Parton是美國知名的鄉村歌手，在過去40年來，有110首入榜單曲，其中25首為冠軍曲。共贏得過9座葛萊美獎、10座鄉村音樂協會及7座鄉村音樂學院獎等獎項，並兩度獲得奧斯卡獎的提名。

Parton和Wagoner自1968至1980，共合出了約13張專輯 ( 不含合輯 )，此首《Tomorrow Is Forever》為由Parton自己所寫，收錄於倆人1970的專輯《Porter Wayne and Dolly Rebecca》中。單曲的成績頗佳，在美國鄉村單曲榜獲得第9名。

 

Wagoner為何會如此地賞識Parton？甚至當初在邀Parton加入團隊時是換掉另一位女歌手Norma Jean，因而遭到一些粉絲觀眾不滿，有當場離席或是叫囂者，當然，到後來Parton還是被接受了。Wagoner會忍受這些，是有他私人的曖昧因素嗎？不免令人起疑。雖然Wagoner的年紀長Parton快20歲，這當然也不算是個問題。哈哈，大家想多了！其實Parton在1966就已結婚，先生極其低調，幾乎不和她一起出現在公開場合，至今婚齡超過50年，應該算是幸福美滿吧！唯倆人一直未生育子女。Porter Wagoner於2007過世，享壽80歲。
