Roses 這首歌對我來說感觸很深，但是卻說不出個所以然來。

第一次是在 ICRT 上面聽到的。自己跑去網上下載，才知道原版的 Roses 髒話還真多，整首歌罵了幾十個 S字跟 B字....我是十分無法忍受髒話在歌曲裡的，所以聽過第一次就跟它說掰掰了。

過了一段時間，我又聽到同一首歌，但是是在美國的廣播上，我只聽到一段，就馬上把音量轉大，後來發現又是同一首歌....我找了好久終於找到消音版的。找到消音版的我高興萬分，一連聽了幾十次，聽到我媽抗議，我反而還越來越喜歡這首歌。

這首歌其實跟美國鄉村音樂一樣，都在說故事。一開始，就是在說女主角卡洛蘭 Caroline。卡洛蘭是一個所有男生都會稱讚她為超漂亮的女生，但是漂亮並不代表所有，因為漂亮只有讓妳得到一半的成功，而另外一半就只有失敗。而有一天她會發現，真正的男生只會喜歡上隨和的女生。

其實說真的，隨和，對女生來說，只是加分罷了。我認識的女生，通常越任性越多人喜歡，隨和，也只有在她們高興的時候才會出現。越漂亮的女生，脾氣通常壞到不行....

我記得一個學姊曾說過，對一個男生越好，他越不懂的珍惜；唯有你開始鬧脾氣，耍小手段，他才會發現你不只是小貓一隻。另外一個學姊馬上接腔：反正男人都犯賤....

我並不知道學姊倆是不是真的這樣想，因為她們倆長的不算是美如天仙，但是追求她們的男生有好幾卡車。

我只是覺得，要是男生喜歡的女生真的是以隨和來判斷，那不知道會不會有比較多的女生開始改變她們對人的態度?

我考慮了很久，一直不確定該不該把歌詞 po 上來。因為我不想要把正版(就是有髒話的)放上來;所以我只好自己把它改掉。我知道那些髒話並沒有什麼殺傷力，總比阿姆唱的乾淨很多，只是...我還是不習慣有髒話在新聞台上。

我本來也沒有要發這篇的。因為好像沒有什麼意義寫篇這麼短的樂評。只是我有點小希望，會因為自己長相而對人態度不好的女生能夠改變;因為...Real guys go for real down to Mars girls, yeah!
