Now, English will be the most important language in the world. English is the most popular language among countries as well. So learning English seems to be necessary for many people in the modern society. Meanwhile, every person has their own way to learn English. The following are some of my suggestions for learning English.
First, you must have strong desire to learn English. For me, learning English is not an easy job, because it has great differences between Chinese and English. If you don’t have strong desire, I think after a couple months, you may find English is such a boring language. In the end, you may give up to learn English. In my view, motivation plays an important role on learning not only English but also any new things.
Next, you should be an active learner. As I think, teachers always teach us English only from textbooks. Actually, it is not enough. That is, after class, you may need to find other materials to brush up your English skillls. It you are an active learner, finding materials for extra read won’t be troublesome. By doing so, your English will improve rapidly.
Last but not least, practicing is necessary for learning English. In Taiwan, English is a foreign language. We may not use English as often as Chinese. There are so many ways to practice English, like chatting on-line, speaking with teachers, and the like. If you catch every chance to practice English, your English ability, without doubts, would have extremely improvements.
In the twenty-first century, English is used in lots of ways and occasions. That means English surely plays an important role in our daily life. In my mind, English is not only a language but a way to connect with the world as well.
