Water, for human beings, is a very important element in the daily life. We need to drink around 2000 cc to 3000 cc water in average per day. So, from this aspect, water is nothing but important. Concerning about our health, clean water would be out first choice. But, in many industrialized countries, clean water, like good quality diamond, is not easy to find. Water pollution would be a strong enemy for that kind of countries.
According to World Water Development Report, India ranked 120 among 122 countries. This report indicates that India now is suffering from water pollution. Because of heavy industries, rivers are soiled by soils. This is a big matter. If all rivers are polluted by factories, people live here would have no clean water to use. This will be a big injury for human health. I suggest that India government should fine some ways out to solve this big issue. Otherwise, India will come down because health is a basic element for a strong country.
In my view, the officers of the government should legislate laws for protecting the environment. We should use laws to limit those factories to discharge polluted water. Besides, the government should teach those factories how to protect our environment. We have to let those factories know what they have done is a big harm for both human and the society. Additionally, the government and factories should cooperate with each other in order to make our environment better and better. If factories have problem to deal with polluted water, the government should help them to handle it.
In short, any natural resource is rare and should be cherished. Protecting environment is not only one’s business but everyone’s business. If we all have eco-awareness, I think our environment will be better than before. Don’t rely on others to protect our environment, just start form yourself.
