Taipei is my lovely hometown, and I have lived here for almost nineteen years. Cupertino, which is near San Jose, is in California, USA. In this summer, I spend my whole vacation in Cupertino. I love both two cities; they have their own attractive features for me.
Living in Taipei, it is very convenient. I can go any where by mass transportation such as MRT. Also, I can get my destination within one hour. But, in Cupertino, the first thing you have to learn is driving, because you may have to go to a shopping center which you have to drive for twenty minutes. But, buses in Cupertino always arrive at schedules time. This is very different from Taipei.
Living in Taipei, I always feel busy. Everyone looks so busy for everything. The life in Taipei is very fast. On the contrast, walking along streets in Cupertino, you can find people always do things at ease. No one looks rush. In fact, I really like the feel in Cupertino. It is really comfortable.
Living in Taipei, I feel crowed. Taipei is not a large city. In Cupertino, it is very different. At there, you may find schools have at least one track field and a soccer field; it provides people have enough space to do sports. From that, I think American put more emphasis on physic educations than Taipei.
In my view, living in different places has different feeling. These feelings may be good or bad, but it doesn’t matter. After living in Cupertino, I think I love Taipei more than before, because it is my
hometown. I feel ease in Taipei. I will love Taipei forever and ever.
