Orchid Island is a volcanic island that was formed of magma erupting from the ocean floor.
Lanyu covers an area of only 45 square kilometers and is the second largest affiliated island in Taiwan. The transportation on the island is heavy-duty motorcycle. Please bring your motorcycle driver's license.
Homestay in this time ~
There are four villages and six tribes on the island. The first stop: a guided tour of the traditional underground house of the Yeyin tribe
The guide teacher Zhou Kegui wears the traditional costumes of the Dawu ethnic group and introduces the place where he grew up
Because of the typhoon and the wisdom of the Dawu people, a unique underground house building was created.
The second stop ~Green Green Grassland - the four seasons have different styles. In autumn and winter, the grassland is yellowed by the northeast monsoon.
On the back of the grassland are towering peaks and close to the coastline, the best place to watch the sunset from the sea
