哥哥首次交換學生之旅 ~ Day 12 Academy of Science+Painted Ladies+K1

這兩天早上送妹妹出門，連阿公阿媽也開始想哥哥了，算算日子再四天哥哥就到家

了，我還挺好奇的，哥哥一回國第一個想吃的小吃是啥???

Breakfast was grilled cheese sandwich, bacon & fried egg this time.

今天的早餐，有哥哥最喜歡的煎蛋耶!~~~

Today I thought I'll give the boys some hot lunch instead. Made spaghetti bolog-

nese and put them in 'keep warm' containers. These containers were bought for

me by my Japanese friends. It had a compartment for rice or noodles and a separ-

ate one for mains. The spork (spoon fork combination) is on the inside of the lid.

Good design!

我不得不說，我這個HOME媽也太有才了吧!! 這肉醬意大利麵也弄得超好吃的

樣子，這下子我兒子回來，不會看我的BLOG開始點餐了吧!

Added to the spaghetti is drink, string cheese and apple.

配上這可愛的餐盒，餓了餓了!!



今天學校校外參觀的地點是Academy of Sciences，現在上演的是孩子們最愛

的餵食秀~~哇! 真的有好多魚喔!!

接著還參觀了可愛的African penguins

這裡應該要叫做水族館吧!!

今天的另一個景點是~寫生，天呀! 這又是我家哥哥的弱項啦!!

今天寫生的地點是~Painted Ladies【Painted Ladies 官網】

現在舊金山市區高樓林立，但，在Alamo Square的Steiner ST上有一排很特

別的維多利亞式建築，不管這世代如何交替，總會發現此類建築的高貴感，仍

有其不敗之地，而照片中的一排六棟的房子為Painted Ladies中最著名的建築。

何謂"Painted Ladies"式建築，是外型Victorian or Edwardian houses，且

三種以上的顏色表現此房子的層次感。也許可在舊金山市中，仍可看到許多類似

的房子，但是，大多是一間一間的而非一整排，所以，只要提到"Painted

Ladies"或"Six Sisters"直覺的就是這一排房子。為何這一排房子會這樣有名呢?

此建築是建於1892~1896年之間，但在1906年發生了著名的舊金山大地震及

火災，許多房子都毀於祝融，所剩不多，彌足珍貴呀!

我想，孩子們應該不懂為何特地來此寫生，此由來有些複雜~~~

ㄟ~~怎麼一樣的地方，不同人一起照呢?! 原來是home媽今天安排的行程

中就會帶到這個景點啦! 哥哥看到Wei能一起來，一定超開心的!!



They were used in the TV sticom 'Full House' in the 90s. Unfortunately, 2 of

them are under renovation. 有兩間房子正在裝修中，照起來的美感還是有差

Eason told me on the way here that they have been here already this morning.

They came here for art class to do sketching. But never mind, I wanted a photo

with both Eason and Ethan.哥哥向home說，今天早上我們有來這ㄦ寫生耶!

home說，沒關係，早上沒有你們兩在這ㄦ的合照呀!!



同學Henry也一起來囉~



Now the moms should have one too! See how well Ethan took it avoiding the

 houses under renovations. 謝謝這些媽媽們~~



K1 Speed is a go cart racing place near the San Francisco Airport. It's an

indoor track. Look the boys are wearing same tops!

今天活動的最高潮.....開K1賽車!! 哇!! 媽媽我也很愛玩賽車耶!! (孩子們穿

著一樣的衣服，好窩心喔!!)



This is not bumper car, no crashing and bumping, ok? The staff goes through

some rules on racing.  這不是碰碰車，不可以撞在一起喔!!



Ok, time to gear up. Don't they look professional?

這也未免太好笑了吧! 是要進手術室嗎? 這樣的妝扮真的很有趣耶!

The race is based on speed. They take the average speed for the entire race.

Eason is in cart number 18. Go 18!      哥哥是18號賽車喔!

速度真的很快咧~~







所以是....三個第一嗎?

We had some snack food at the race. Colin's mom Claudia made some spam

musubi and oranges, I took some rice crackers and others brought other food.

Back at home I made a quick instant noodle for the boys.

賽車結束後，home媽有先給孩子們吃晚餐，但因為怕孩子吃得不飽，回家後還

又幫孩子們準備泡麵，真的是有夠用心的啦!!

After finishing their homework, the boys played table tennis.

沒錯! 吃飽喝足，一定是要運動一下啦!!

They had a relatively late night last night (10:30pm) so I said lights off at 9:30pm

tonight. Tomorrow the Ren-Ai kids are going to watch and baseball game.

今天玩到9:30pm就上床睡覺了，明天仁愛的孩子們將會去看"棒球賽"喔!!



今天有一景點Painted Ladies我很喜歡，依稀記得這是Mr. Doubyfire【窈窕奶爸

官網】的拍攝場景，這部1993年出品的電影(那時我還小喔!!)，到現在2014年還可

看到這幾棟建築，媽媽我在家裡看照片，心中有種莫名的感動呢!

還有Just Like Heaven出竅情人，也是在這兒拍的喔!
