Grout is another critical component. It not only fills the borehole but also bonds the self drilling soil nail to the soil or rock, increasing pull-out resistance and overall system strength. In some cases, pressure grouting is applied to improve performance in loose or sandy soils.

 

Finally, the drill shank adapter and drilling machine ensure efficient power transfer and precise installation. The nail head, consisting of a plate and nut, anchors the system at the surface and transfers loads to the ground.

 

Together, these components form a versatile and efficient self drilling soil nail system, ideal for fast installation and effective ground reinforcement in challenging conditions.
