Arrived Brisbane yesterday after the unfortable 15 hours train journey.
Quite relaxed here and excited to see so many theatre and performaing art venue again. It does have some in Sydney and Melbourne, but it seems too far away from ordinary people like me. Quite like the simple beauty of the theatre here. Sometimes it's more comfortable to stay here than the Sydney Opera House which is too GRAND.
One day I walk around the Sydeny opera house and saw that there is a stage outside it. When I watch TV in Brisbane yesterday, I found that it was used for the fund-raising show for Asia. Quite confused cause I go another strange place again. The time zone always changes. Sometimes I even think that we can change the time by just modify the time of our watch. Crazy~~
One guy in hostel told me he didn't understand why Hong Kong people can feel happy for the life with nothing but money. And he emphasized that how relaxed AU people are. I just smile to him cause it's hard to explain to him in a short time. I believe that there must be something more than money that HK people treasure. We have our warm side too. Travelling for so long, one thing i learn is to apperciate the culture of others. Even in the same country like Australia, different region does have their own culture. It's hard to compare or make comment according to our own background. Try to apperciate it.
Finish booking the return ticket to New Zealand. Find that to back from Gold Coast is cheaper than Brisbane after booking law --! but anyway my fare is reasonable and cheap.
Once think about to extend my journey to the heart of Australia cause suddenly have interest in the outback area. I find that I can't understand this country too much by travelling only 2 months. But it's really too hot to go desert now and I feel a little bit tired. Finally I decide to back NZ and start my South Island journey. It must be totally different.
One thing I feel very lucky after this journey is that i don't go Sydney as an exchange student but to New Zealand. Otherwise I can't experience a total different life to Hong Kong. Actually Sydney is very similar to Hong Kong.
