Dear God,

What is it that you want me to learn?

I am so dead, nothing more than a pile of ashes. I want to live again. I want to breathe. I want to be a person who knows how to feel, how to love and how to live. A person with a true smile. A person who is free from anxiety and fear. A person who does not wake up freaked out with morning nightmares anymore.

Please show me what to believe. Show me the way. Show me how to forgive the unfair and the unkind. Show me strength and wisdom. Show me how to protect myself from being hurt. Show me how to love myself and care for myself.

Show me how to ask you questions. How to pray for the simplest happiness. Stop the cruelty, or at least stop the hurt and the darkness that is cast on my mind.

Dear God, this is your child lost in confusion, hurt and fear. Please guide me.
