Sometimes, lots of jobs just make me frustrated, especially when the jobs are like assembling chairs, desks, setting up phone lines, or anything that my brain is not required.
有時候, 數不完的工作只是讓我沮喪, 尤其是當些工作是要女王去組一些桌子椅子, 把電話線系統搞清楚, 這些用不上女王大腦的事…
Today, I hit my fingers twice by the hammer, cut my hand by the screwdriver many times, and had my two arms impotent by carrying the desks and chairs around. When the resentment came up my mind, I almost cried out in front of my colleague, who asked me to do those labor works.
今天, 女王手指頭被鐵鎚敲了兩下, 手被螺絲起子刮了好幾道, 兩隻手因為抬桌子抬椅子搞的虛弱無力. 我的怨恨一下子衝到腦門, 幾乎讓我在同事面前哭出來, 在那個要我做勞動的同事面前…
“Crying achieves nothing”, I came up with these words when I drove my car, escaping from the lousy, messy office for a rest. I stopped by a Starbucks at Pasadena. “Hi, sweetie, what can I get for you?” The shiny employee looked at me with a shiny smile. “May I get a cinnamon twist and a iced quante caramel macchiato?” I tried to spoil myself, by those more than sweet enough deserts to offset my bitter frustration. “You got it……Wow, you just got the last one (cinnamon twist)!” He used a surprised tone, even thought I knew that I wanted to get the last one before it’s taken. “Oh Ya! That’s great!” I answered him with a happy tone, too. Life should be like this simple and happy, even though things sometimes don’t make sense. “That’s your caramel macchiato. Enjoy your day!”, said from an older guy who handed my coffee to me. At that moment, I felt I was the happiest person.
“哭解決不了什麼” 當我逃離那個討厭的辦公室開著我的小紅時突然想起這句話. 我在Pasadena的一家Starbucks門前停下. “哈囉甜心 (這樣翻譯就先將就), 你要來點什麼??”這個陽光店員帶著陽光笑容看著我. “我想要一個肉桂捲和大杯冰的焦糖瑪奇朵.”女王決定放縱一下, 讓這些甜死人食物平衡一下剛才在辦公室裡的苦悶. “沒問題! Wow~ 你剛好拿到最後一個(肉桂捲)耶!” 他用著小吃驚的聲音, 雖然我早知道要趕快在還沒被搶走前先買到個肉桂捲. “喔耶~ 太好了!” 我也用著開心的聲音回他. 人生就應該像這樣簡單快樂, 即使是對著些沒意義的事. “你的焦糖瑪奇朵好了! 今天快樂喔!”幫我做咖啡的人對我說著. 接過咖啡的那一刻, 我覺得我是最幸福的人.
I should be the happiest person if I have time to have a Starbucks coffee during a frustrating day, and even though I knew there were still some more assembly jobs waiting for me.
女王本來就是最幸福的, 如果在我開始繼續做工前可以來一杯Starbucks咖啡的話...
