當奧巴馬總統上台交付聯盟今年的國家，他告訴美國人民，他打算在2014年是一年的行動。他說：

※再過幾天就是我的生日〈農曆〉，我已經忘記了到底有幾十年沒有做「慶祝生日」的慶生，因為我曾經說過：「我們臺灣人還在做異族人的奴隸，“生日”有什麼好慶祝的？是慶祝自己出生為“奴隸”而高興？還是慶祝些什麼？？？？」

中國國民黨和中國共產黨的「宣傳戰」，竟然找上了「我」
原本此信寄出後，我也不以為意，像這麼平常的信，應該不會有什麼反應，畢竟我在臺灣時，也曾提出許多建議，但都有如石頭投入大海一般，無聲無息，一點回音也沒有。
但是此次卻很奇怪的，在臺灣、中國、香港三地，掀起了一陣波瀾，甚至我差一點就丟掉了生命，兩次都在鬼門關前停留了兩、三天之久，甚至最後一次差一點就葬身魚腹或海底，幸上天可憐我，助我三、四個「大波浪」，這才讓我死裡逃生。
當我將「這一封信」寄出之後，大約一個星期，我在香港的租屋處來了兩個不速之客，經過介紹後一個是：「中華旅行社在香港辦事處的經理」、另一個是從臺灣來的：「劉少將」，當介紹寒喧後，這一位劉少將從公事包裡面，拿出一封信，我一眼就認出是我寄出去給蔣經國的「這一封信」。
「劉少將」將「這一封信」拿出來後，一面遞過來給我，一面說：「這一封信是不是你寫的？」，我不用看，「這一封信」確實是我寫的沒錯，因此，我立即回答說：「不錯！是我寫的。」我一面回答，一面再將「這一封信」遞過去還給他，「劉少將」將信接過去後，小心翼翼的將「這一封信」放進公事包內，把公事包鎖上後，就對著我說：
「院長（指蔣經國）已經知道了這件事，特別指派我到香港來拜訪你，你的建議很好，希望你告訴我，你還有什麼建言？」說完，雙眼就看著我。
我說：
「我以前在臺灣時，早就提出很多建議，你不知道嗎？難道他（指蔣經國）都沒有收到？或看到？好像人在臺灣時，所說的話，一點點價值也沒有。」
（作者按：臺灣人在臺灣所說的話和建議，臺灣執政者大都「置之不理」，確實可悲；蔣介石、蔣經國如是；李登輝、陳水扁依然如是；我對李登輝和陳水扁的建議，詳見本書後面附錄。）
「劉少將」說：「這個事情我不太清楚，我回去之後向他報告，再查好嗎？」接著他又說：
「院長是愛才若渴的，希望你能回臺灣，院長有意要你當海外遴選的立法委員或監察委員或國大代表，這是不需要競選的，你意下如何？」
我回答說：「這個嘛、、、讓我想想看！」
如果就這樣打住，沒有任何條件和要求，搞不好我真的會登上了「賊船」，當上了「老賊」；那麼這本《臺灣歷史》書本，也就須要再等待數十年，甚至數百年，才能「出世」，那時才能讓臺灣人回復、恢復臺灣人的本來面目；也或許依照我的思想和個性，我早就不容於「中國國民黨」之內，而遭到「汙名化之後槍斃」，畢竟我的思想與他們不同。、、、待續

the Department of the Treasury to create starter "myRA"
accounts that will make it easier for Americans to save for
retirement.
Ordered
a government-wide review of federal training programs to make
sure Americans get in-demand skills for good jobs.
Taken
executive action to assist millions of long-term unemployed
Americans -- and more than 300 companies have already
committed to the Administration's best practices for hiring
and recruiting the long-term unemployed.
Announced
a major new commitment that will connect more than 20 million
students to high-speed Internet -- and the private sector
stepped up to the plate with more than $750 million in
commitments to help make it happen.
And
next Wednesday, he'll be using his pen again.
Don't
