這是1997年為慶祝上海的國際郵票展,紐西蘭和中國大陸聯合發行的玫瑰郵票。兩小張拼成的右邊是西洋油墨畫法的粉紅色玫瑰,左邊的赭紅色玫瑰花則是中國的國畫畫法,非常特別喔!
左邊兩張有白框的是大陸發行的郵票,右邊的則是紐西蘭發行的。紐西蘭和大陸發行的小全張除了字體、印刷技術、紙質不同,印刷顏色有點色差之外,兩張設計都相同。我到郵局看的時候愛不釋手,立刻就買了首頁封下來。
有關畫玫瑰的一小段回憶在之前的【黃色水仙花】有講過,這裡就不贅述了。除了花店裡當黃金鑽石賺取女人熱淚來賣的整束玫瑰花之外(P.S. 本人不曾收過一束),其實我並不是很喜歡玫瑰花,也不會覺得玫瑰花有多浪漫,大概是在紐西蘭看太多玫瑰花園了吧?台灣的媽媽們很喜歡玫瑰花,可是我覺得園裡的玫瑰圃就只能種玫瑰,光禿禿的土地多醜啊!雖然玫瑰花園的每一塊花圃種的玫瑰花長相、顏色、大小不盡相同,但我還是比較喜歡院子裡花團錦簇的美,很多很多五顏六色的奇花異草,甚至是像向日葵、油菜花、薰衣草那種「大便是美」也是很棒的。

http://mypaper1.ttimes.com.tw/user/pin3/index.html有題心理學的分類法小測驗,問看到玫瑰會想到什麼?我看別人的答案不是什麼CD、樂團、浪漫各式各樣的,好像只有我聯想到的是跟院子裡的玫瑰花有關。以前夏天在紐西蘭的家,我和妹妹兩個人必須流輪到院子拔野草,我最恨拔玫瑰花圃的野草。因為玫瑰花剛好種在房子旁邊,人一定要彎下腰甚至跪下去才有辦法把野草連根拔起,夏天穿短袖,手臂勢必會被玫瑰花刺給刺到,那我就不得不穿上冬天的外套再去拔玫瑰花圃的野草。將野草連根拔起有一種快感→如果手臂不會被刺到的話,我在想,如果以後景氣真的很差,我真的找不到好工作,至少我還可以去拔野草賺零用錢喔?

Roses - Joint Issue with China
12 November 1997
The two stamp designs making up the 1997 Rose stamp issue were issued jointly by New Zealand and the People's Republic of China. The Chinese were the first to use roses as garden plants, probably during the reign of Chin Nun, 2737 B.C. Confucius in 450 B.C. mentions roses being planted in the Imperial Palace of Peking.
‧Miniature Sheet (Two se-tenant 40c stamps depicting):
(1)Rugosa Rose:The word rugosa comes from the latin ruga, which means wrinkled or corrugated. this undodoubtedly refers to the rather crinkled look of the heavily veined foliage. There Chinese paintings of rosa rugosa (Mei kuei) from the 10th century.
(2)Aotearoa-New Zealand Rose:Created by Rose Breeder Dr. Sam McGredy this rose was named at the request of Prime Minister David Lange to celebrate the sequicentenary of New Zealand in 1990.
‧Shanghai'97 Roses Miniature Sheet(Issued 19 November 1997):
As a result of the success of the joint China - New Zealand rose stamp issue New Zealand Post attended the Shanghai '97 International Stamp Expo in China on 19 -23 November 1997. A quantity of Rose miniature sheets from this issue was reprinted with black text and the exhibition logo and a border in gold foil to commemorate the Expo.
