這是我最喜歡的一張郵票，因為是圓形的，因為有紐西蘭特有的可愛奇異鳥圖案，因為摸起來還有凹凸不平的浮鋼印觸感，尤其藍色是我的最愛，勝過其他什麼紅色綠色紫色。紐西蘭郵局每隔幾年就會出不同顏色的圓形奇異鳥郵票，讓這郵票又重新活起來出現在大家的眼前。
另外1993年在台北舉行的亞洲國際郵票邀請展覽，紐西蘭也出了小全張來紀念，很不容易在紐西蘭郵票上會看到中文繁體字唷，而且還有印「台北」！因為是雞年，特地設計了一隻公雞代表1993。我去郵局逛的時候當然馬上就買了下來留念，雖然那小全張有點貴啦，不過滿有紀念價值的。隔年在香港的郵票邀請展覽，紐西蘭又用了圓形奇異鳥郵票，ㄟ……我還是有買下來啦，因為那紀念小全張上面有兩隻很可愛的小狗唷！

‧圓形奇異鳥郵票
For such a young country, New Zealand is home to a wide range of architectural styles. One style however dominated construction in the 1930s - Art Deco. Popular between 1925 and 1950, the style symbolised the early 20th century's fascination with speed, power, technology and progress.
New Zealand's first round postage stamp featured quite appropriately New Zealand's own unique bird species - the kiwi. Found nowhere else in the world, this flightless, nocturnal bird is New Zealand's national symbol - the kiwi and New Zealand are instantly associated all round the world. The Maori motif around the border represents the Kowhai tree flower - symbolising the continuous cycle of life.（kowhai是毛利文「黃色」的意思）

Taipei '93 Round Kiwi Miniature Sheet
Issued 14 August 1993
This miniature sheet was produced to commemorate Taipei '93 Asian International Invitation Stamp Exhibition, held in Taiwan 14 - 19 August 1993. The sheet, designed by Leigh-Mardon Pty Ltd, Australia, incorporated three Round Kiwi stamps (green, red and blue) and the Taipei '93 logo. In addition, a rooster was included in the design to commemorate 1993 as the 'Year of the Rooster'. While the blue Round Kiwi was produced using the intaglio process, the other two stamps were produced using lithography.
