Autobiography
My name is Chuang Wu Chien. There are four members in my family, including my father, who is a businessman, my mother, who is a housewife, and my older sister, who is a student in NCCU. I have a really sweet family and I am very grateful for this.
Among all subjects, I like English most. My first encounter with English happened when I was in the 7th grade. That was the first year I started to learn English. I had such great enthusiasm in learning everything about English that I grabbed at every possible chance practicing speaking English with my English teacher. I must have caused her some kind of trouble, I am sure. So, I am not a bookworm. I am curious about novel things, and I know many different ways to stay connected with the whole world. For example, I like surfing the Internet; I enjoy reading magazines as Times, National Geographic, etc. whenever I am free, I’d like to spend time reading English newspapers in the school library. By the way, chatting online is also my favorite. To me, learning a foreign language is more like a game which is full of excitement.
Why do I choose English Department of Chinese Culture University? I have learned a lot about your courses and programs which I take great interest in. it will be my greatest desire to attend your department and hopefully I will take education credits a few years later. With enthusiasm, I am sure I can be a good English teacher.
