I think I surely love this story because it is very short comparing to other literature works and simple meaning. Meanwhile, this story, in my view, is in a chronological order. This story began with two Americans stopping at the hotel, and at that moment, it was raining outside. Then the woman saw a cat under a green table in the pouring rain, so she wanted to get that kitty inside. But, when she went outside that cat was gone. The woman was a little sad. After several moments, a maid went to knock the door and held the kitty in hand.
In my opinion, this story is an exactly portrait of real life. I think I can take my family as an example. In my home, we all have to obey whatever my father says, but sometimes, what my father says may not rational or reasonable. So, we may negotiate, even argue. In this story, the American woman listened to what his husband said. But, in this story, this woman mentioned that she wants long hair and she can brush her hair in front a mirror. I think this is very unfair. In my mind, everyone is born to be equal. There is no one who must listen to somebody.
