Computers seem to be the most important invention in the twenty-first century. In my view, our life would be very inconvenient without computers. Meanwhile, in the modern society, we have many things to do with computers. Take students for example, they use computers not only for fun but for studying as well. So, do computers affect our lives? Yes, without doubts.
For students, computers play an important role in their daily live. Students often use computers to do their reports. They can surf the Internet, then, get much information about their topics in reports. After getting enough information, students can use computers to organize and edit. After that, an excellent report will print and hand out. Before, students need to go to libraries to find information; now, students only need to link to the Internet. Computers do save students much time.
For shop owners, computers are very helpful. Owners can make a list of goods in the computers. They can know what is the most popular and what is not so popular. By using computers, shop owners can know when to import goods. Meanwhile, goods shouldn’t put on shelf for too long because they have expire date. Before expiring date, it should be sell out, or, it should be take away. So, using computer is a good way to manage goods.
For weatherman, computers are nothing but important. Weathermen can use computers to predict weather. It is very helpful for all of us. According to weather reports, we can wear proper clothes. I think it is strange to wear a heavy jacket in a hot day. But, computers sometimes make mistakes, even homer sometimes nods. Hope one day; computers can do precise weather prediction.
Above all, computers affect our lives in many ways. But, don’t computers have any disadvantages? In my opinion, it depends on how to use computers. If you use computers for a long time, you may feel tired. Actually, it is time to take a rest. According to newspapers, there are several people suddenly died in internet cafes because they used computers for a long long time. Everything has pros and cons it is all up to you how to use. As a matter of fact, computers do help us a lot in our lives.
