not my day of cooking..

last night, i made eveybody in the house dinner, sort of spanish kinda dinner. we had cucumber salad and chick pea salad as starters and vegetable paella as main course, with green and yellow peppers as side veg.

the salads went great, but the paella.. err.. i must have put too much water.. it turn out to be too soggy.. it was like baby food.. but then, even though, everybody still enjoyed it.

later in the evening i decided to bake cake. while it was being cooked in the oven it smelled superb and had handsome apperance. when removed from the oven.. and cut with a knife.. ehh.. it's nothing like cake.. then i realised i didn't put egg nor baking powder..

then again, eveybody said it was nice anyway and had 2 servings each.

god, i love cooking for my housemates.. they do compliment whatever the outcome. so nice.

(and they even urge me to bake again soon!)
