Arguement about knowledge characteristics

1. Knowledge is tacit.
About this, in fact, characteristics of KM are not all tacit, most are under different angle of viewpoint, small to traditional mail DM process also can explain exesit of KM is dynamic, the tacit is the result of KM, then explicit feature are all process of change and result of moment. Simple example, originally three working line for three workers is independent, from paper, envelop filling, closing, counting amount, etc. to finish the job of DM. When executive demand them to change process, one for paper, one for envelop filling and another one for closing and counting amount, when all working line be change to one line, it’s big different with three working line. Of course when it is not reach certain time and working loading, the knowledge of change production result is tacit. Then past some time test and perform, will find many pre-estimate variables and the production situation of moment (tired of manpower, process speed etc.) explicit influence, the tacit component of KM are not that high as expect. In other words, knowledge is forming result after cause. So what cause causing what result. Then cause and result is not all tacit or explicit. It’s depend on case, just can fit the simple and complex factors of attribution feature of knowledge management

2. Knowledge is action-oriented.
About this: in the field of management, interpretation of data and information are different, data is not to sort, information is already sort and usability data. Its also different in field of business management about requirement and need, requirement is a thinking only, then need must is real action (or product). Therefore, going back to discuss knowledge is need action oriented? It’s not really, “talking arms on paper” also is a mode of knowledge production. So my opinions is generation or existing value of knowledge is “case” oriented, knowledge can exist for a useful idea, then knowledge can produce result or not indeed need action to practice. Philosophy of Knowing and action have much different insights from old era. It also make changeful of knowledge, so my opinion is knowledge need to form a result, it just is action oriented. “Action no action” just can explain the original approach of KM. Case starting, how to process, how to produce experience and reuse experience, the applying, record, management process make case can be present completely and produce result, this is so called knowledge management.
3. Knowledge is supported by norm.
About this, if use “「形而下」viewpoint to judge, the viewpoint should be establish, but if think over by ”metaphysics”, then knowledge is not equal past, so its not routine completely just can support, brief speaking, i.e. play chess, simple chess pattern can be found the rule or named routine can be follow, nevertheless, chess pattern is ever changing follow a chess player’s skill, personality, emotion etc. its big different. Therefore, knowledge is not entirely need be support by routine. Sometimes, unknown domain and change mode is just the key knowledge point to win victory through unexpected moves.
4. Knowledge is changed constantly.
Knowledge is from simple to complex, management is simplifying complex, yet the principle of KM (constant change), actually is the only way for progress. But it’s also a big factor to block progress, because demand refine to reach a reasonable degree is helpful to growth., after overhead is not helpful. Fr example, industrial mass production standard of late of 18 century compare with today’s industrial management and production way have big different. However these industrial technology progress largely until now still can’t replace handiwork industry production completely, the reason is simple, something like rice fried with eggs whether use a microwave oven or burning way to complete, actually it’s all just rice fried eggs. I agree viewpoint of “knowledge is constant change” absolutely, just also feel sometime when human are chasing KM, only change for change. Its not any change or meaning in their nature. This is the weak of present KM applying system (ERP, CRM).
