Looking at the lotus blossoms in front of me, I can't help being intoxicated by these beautiful "lotus blossoms" and proud of the noble character of the lotus that produces mud but doesn't dye. There is a long history around the Hetang. As early as the late Longshan culture, after the Yellow Emperor Chongbo Gu was granted to the upper and middle reaches of the Yi River, Chongguo was built in Songxian district to control the water and build a city. Later, he was responsible for the flood control of the whole country. Because of the containment method, nine years of water control, not only failed to control the flood, but also made the flood more rampant, which was killed by Emperor Shun in Yushan (now Yushan) near the Hetang. The eight tributaries of the current lotus pond, Chongyi water, is to commemorate the martyrdom of Chongbo Gu. Yuwangshan and other places near Hetang are the main areas where Dayu, the hero of water control, was active in his childhood. When Dayu grew up, he inherited his father's career and led the people to continue to control the water. During the period of controlling the Yishui River, he married Tushan's daughter in santushan and met the princes in santushan, laying the foundation for the establishment of Xia Dynasty. The establishment of Xia Dynasty marks the end of Chinese primitive society and the beginning of class society, which is an important milestone in the history of ancient Chinese social development. Wangcheng village, not far from the lower reaches of Hetang, is the starting point of China's law popularization education. In the winter of the seventh year of King Jing of Zhou Dynasty (513 BC), Zhao Yang and Xun Yin, son of Xun and Wu, led the army to build fortifications in today's Wangcheng village and Rubin city. At the same time, "one drum of iron" (in ancient times, four stones were one drum, 120 Jin per stone, or 480 Jin of iron). The iron tripod was made by casting the iron and the "punishment book" made by fan xuanzi on the tripod, which was known as "punishment tripod" in history.
