This Rose Bowl was one to remember for the Sooners...
Yesterday was so sunny, around 70-degree, the crowd of 86,848 watched Oklahoma made its first trip to the Rose Bowl and it's one for fans to remember, but Mike Price's last game as Washington State's coach was one to forget.
The eighth-ranked Sooners dominated on defense and broke the game open with two late first-half touchdowns on their way to a 34-14 victory .........
I have not seen fans like this ever since I left OU, and it sure felt so good to be among so many Sooners. On the night when they had the pre-game crush, I encountered lots of Cougars fans at the Universal Studio parking lot, hotel lobbies, and even inside elevator. And boy, the tension between two crowds brought back the good old memory…
