See the family of that young man from time to time, but I do not wish to disturb them. The mom chant at Buddha Hall for her beloved son everyday, and the father and brother just sit at a deserted corner of the parking lot. I offer my sincere and heartfelt mourning from distance.
When I drove them back to their hotel yesterday evening, they were asking about weathers and traffic here, then I found out the parents had never been outside of Taiwan, not even hold a passport. This was their first trip to US and was to identify and collect their son’s body. How sad...
