Will you ever rescue me
Will you fill my heart with happiness
Will you come to set me free

Yet you don't have a clue
Will you ever know how I feel
Will you know my feelings are for you

And so I wait for you my love
This is more than I can stand
Wanting, watching, waiting
For the day you will hold my hands

And so I wait for you my love
Will you wait and see
Or will you find another
Before you've looked for me

And so I wait for you my love
Foolish is my heart
For you will never want me
How did this all start?

And so I wait for you my love
I cannot let you go
You have my soul
My heart
My mind
Just thought I'd let you know

Patiently as I can
I guess that only time will tell
Yet I can't help but wonder
Will you ever be my man?
