〈山頂上看日出〉

 

只有在這種高度

才看得真切

飽睡了一夜的

臉

明亮端莊

一點都不

像他們說的

毛躁

 

毛躁

這是毛躁的

黑白照相機

眨著那隻黑白眼睛

告訴我的

 

*以為日出是一瞬間的事，我用整個膠卷，只拍了太陽雍容的額頭。

 WATCHING SUNRISE ON THE MOUNTAINTOP

 

Only at this altitude

can one see clearly the face

after a good night's sleep

brilliant and composed

not at all hyper

as they made me believe

 

The hyper black and white camera

blinking its black and white eye

told me afterwards

 

*Thinking that sunrise is a momentary thing,  I used up my entire roll of film only to capture the sun’s graceful forehead.
