“如果你有時間的話。”我說
上帝露出微笑----“我有永恒的時間，你想問我什麼問題？”
“人類有哪些事最令你驚訝？”我問;
上帝回答：
“他們覺得童年很無聊，急着讓自己長大，然後又想回到童年”
“他們為賺錢失去健康，又要花錢找回健康”
“他們担心着未來，却忘了現在
因此他們既不是活在現在，也不是活在未來”
“他們活得好像永遠不會死，却死得好像未曾活過一樣”
上帝握着我的手 我們靜坐片刻
然後我問----
“為人父的你，希望兒女明白哪些人生的功課？”
上帝微笑着說：
“明白不可能強迫人們來愛他們，只能自己被愛”
“明白跟别人比較是不好的”
“明白富人不是擁有最多的人，而是最少的人”
“明白揭開心愛的人的創傷只要幾秒
却要花很多年才能痊癒”
“明白饒恕是需要練習才能學會”
“明白有些人很愛他們，只是不知道如何表達”
“明白兩個人看同一件事，會有不同的看法”
“明白光被人饒恕還不夠，自己也必須饒恕自己”
“並且明白我就在這裡，直到永遠。”

I dreamed I had an interview with God.
So, you would like to interview me? God asked.
If you have the time? I said.
God smiled. My time is eternity? What questions do you have in mind for me?
What surprises you most about humankind? God answered...
That they get bored with childhood, they rush to grow up, and then long to be children again?
That they lose their health to make money..and then lose their money to restore their health?
That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present,
such that they live in neither the present nor the future.?
”That they live as if they will never die, and die as though they had never lived.?
God’s hand took mine and we were silent for a while.
And then I asked... As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons you want your children to learn?
To learn they cannot make anyone love them. All they can do is let themselves be loved?
To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others.?
To learn to forgive y practicing forgiveness?
To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in those they love,
and it can take many years to heal them?
To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.?
To learn that there are people who love them dearly,
but simply have not yet learned how to express or show their feelings?
To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently?
To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves?
”Thank you for your time,” I said humbly.
”Is there anything else you would like your children to know?”
God smiled and said, Just know that I am here... always?
