製作功力了得的威爾，之前已經幫人作嫁多次，女主唱菲姬的個人專輯也是由他製作。在這之前，他幫巴西音樂人塞吉歐曼德斯（因在奧斯卡表演不是新版007的《皇家夜總會》中的名曲〈The Look of Love〉而廣為知名）的作品融入嘻哈味的「Timeless」，在台反應也不錯，嘻哈和森巴都是很有舞動力的音樂，也是感染性很強的音樂作品。

一向善於把各種不同音樂融合在一起的黑眼豆豆合唱團（The Black Eyed Peas），自從在「放克大象」（Elephunk）專輯找來了塞吉歐助陣之後，團裡的創作首腦will.i.am乾脆找了一大堆歌手來把這位老牌巴西創作樂手的歷年名曲加新曲來個大翻新，形成了「嘻哈＋森巴」的結合。而跨刀演出的藝人幾乎都是黑人音樂界新有頭有臉的人物，像是盲人歌手史提夫汪達（Stevie Wonder）、約翰傳奇（John Legend）、印蒂亞艾瑞（India Arie）、 吉兒史考特（Jill Scott）、艾瑞卡巴朵（Erykah Badu），個個都是拿獎拿到手軟的硬角色，還有很愛唱黑人音樂的白人歌手賈斯汀（Justin Timberlake），專輯可說是星光滿天，音樂也是熱力十足，〈Mas Que Nada〉就是Nike電視廣告足球篇的歌曲，而史提夫汪達在〈Berimbau/Consolacao〉的口琴演奏也好有活力。「黑眼豆豆」也沒有缺席，他們可是唱最多首的。不過，雖然專輯標的名字是塞吉歐曼德斯，聽起來起來怎麼更像是「黑眼豆豆」的新專輯。
