最近公視在晚間11:00到11:40播出美國2005年非常暢銷的新影集”白宮女總統”(Commander in Chief),大意是美國總統因腦出血過世,由吉娜戴維思(Geena Davis)所扮演的副總統肯絲·艾倫（Mackenzie Spencer Allen）繼位為女總統,遭到了黨內同志和政治死對頭各方的壓力,所展現出的決心勇氣和智慧~
劇中吉娜戴維思所扮演繼位總統的角色令人激賞,處理國家大事的邏輯思維是以 ”美國人民最大的利益”為前提,而美國人民的最大利益不代表每個人的利益,因此當中如何運用政治智慧,解決問題為導向(problem-solving oriented)和政治敵手協商,妥協(trading)與不損及人民利益的交換(trade-offs),即使未能達成協商結果也絕不惡言相向,掌握更多的資訊尋求其他的解決方案,不卑不亢.充分展現ㄧ國總統的大度與素養~
