
yes, not only it leaks and floods, it cracks down.
The leak started 3 weeks ago, after a rain. I started with suspicion that the water dripping from the bathroom ceiling was a result of excess rain. The ceiling fan has a tray, which holds water to some level. Until the 4th day, the dripping became larger beads, and on the 7th day, it has alsmot transformed to a waterfall and i was f'ing pissed. Called HOA, they sent over a plumber to check it out, turned out, that real problem has yet to be unveiled.
The builder used plastic pipes to build this complex 24 years ago, believing that it was a cheaper and durable solution in plumbing's respect. Few years ago, there were leaking in some of the units yet the owener thought it was their own problems and just did some shitty patch work to seal the cracks where water leaked and they prenteded to sleep well. Then I took over this unit, did major renovation, pretty much every inch in the house had been touched. When everything was beautifully done, the obnoxious piping problems had just become to surface.
