壞人不明白公義.
惟有尋求耶和華的.無不明白.
Evil men understand not judgment,
but they that seek the Lord understand all things.

行為純正的窮乏人.
勝過行事乖僻的富足人.
Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness,
than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

謹守律法的.是智慧之子.
與放縱之人作伴的.使父蒙羞.
Whoso keepth the law is a wise son,
but he that is a compnion of riotous men shamed gis father.

誘惑正直人行惡道的.必掉在自己的坑裡.
惟有完全人必承受福分.
Whoso causeth the rightous to go astray in an evil way,
he shall fall himself into his own pit,
but the upright shall have good things in possession.

遮掩自己罪過的.必不亨通.
承認離棄罪過的.必蒙憐恤.
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper,
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

常存敬畏的.便為有福.
心存剛硬的.必陷在禍患裡.
Happy is the man that feareth a;ways,
but he that hradeneth his heart shallfal into mischief.

行動正直的.必蒙拯救.
行事彎曲的.立即跌倒.
Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved,
but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.

耕種自己田地的.必得飽食.
追隨虛浮的.足受窮乏.
He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread,
but he that follooweth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

誠實人必多得福.
想要急速發財的.不免受罰.
A faithful man shall abound

人有惡心想要急速發財.
卻不知窮乏必鄰到他身.
He that hastethto be rich hath an evil eye,
and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.

心中貪婪的.挑起爭端.
倚靠耶和華的.必得豐裕.
He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife,
but he that putteth his trust in the
lord shall be made fat.

心中自恃的.便是愚昧人.
憑智慧行事的.必蒙拯救.
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool,
but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
27
賙濟貧窮的.不致缺乏.
佯為不見的.必多受咒詛.
He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack,
but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
