城巴車隊901-999/9000-9040

一九九五年九月，城巴接辦了40、40M及103號線。由於這些路線不適合以十二米巴士行走，因此城巴採用十點四米巴士行走。但是，這些巴士的載客量不高，而且單門設計並不適合40、40M及103號線的實際運作，故城巴便訂購了五十部十一米雙門巴士。這批巴士特別適合行走上述路線及港島半山區陝窄的道路。

城巴於一九九七至一九九八年間，再購入九十部十一米富豪奧林匹克巴士，它們主要用於行走途經薄扶林的南區路線，例如7, 37A, 37B, 37X, 71, 90B, 973號線，以及分別途經阿公岩及寶馬山的東區路線85和529。

Until the takeover of routes 40, 40M and 103 in September 1995 Citybus operated 10.4 metre buses on those routes that were not suitable for 12 metre buses. However the limited capacity and 1 door layout was not suitable for routes 40, 40M and 103. Orders were therefore placed for 11 metre two door buses. These 50 buses are particularly suited for routes that operate through the narrow roads in the Mid-levels area on Hong Kong Island.

Citybus ordered 90 more 11m Volvo Olympian between 1997 and 1998. These buses are mostly used for the Southern district routes that operate via Pokfulam, such as 7, 37A, 37B, 37X, 71, 90B, 973, and also Eastern district routes 85 and 529 for A Kung Ngam and Braemar Hill particularly.
